Act Details
We, the above pictured plus a few missing in action, are delighted, as a group of enthusiastic community activists AND highly acclaimed thespians !!! to bring you our version of Waking Ned as part of Durrow Goes to Hollywood. This is a great event and all monies raised will go towards the build of our much antipicated and needed Community & Enterprise Hub. We are very happy to partner with Laois County Council on this project and are very thankful for their assistance to date. This project is in the planning for a number of years and with your help and the help of all the fabulous community of Durrow and surrounding areas, we will eventually realise this long awaited dream, as building has already begun 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
We ask you, the general public to COME ON BOARD this journey with us, by supporting all things DURROW GOES TO HOLLYWOOD, where you can, over the next few months. The pinnacle of this Fundraising event will be a spectacular night of glitz, glamour, fun and frolics in the Castle Arms Hotel, Durrow on Saturday 1st November, 2025 when all 7 of our film projects will hit the big screen for the public to see. TICKETS AVAILABLE HERE ON THIS PAGE €40.
So please support Owen, G, Freddie, Paul, Mary, Joan, John, Annmarie & Paul and Eddie and David (missing from pic) if you meet them or indeed any other of the participants, over the Summer as we give of our free time for the greater good of all
