Stage one of the hub was completed through various fundraising initiatives including the Scarecrow Festival which finished in 2024.  To complete stage two and three of the Hub will cost €2,233,888.09, Durrow Development Forum with the help of Laois County Council has secured funding through the Rural Regeneration and Development fund in amount of €1,787,110.47 towards the build. DDF need to match fund in amount of €446,777.62 to complete this project.  DDF has raised €220,767.49 through the Scarecrow Festival which leaves a shortfall of €226,010.13. 

To bridge this gap, on Saturday 1st November, DDF will hold a Gala Event in the Castle Arms Hotel, Durrow Goes to Hollywood, which will showcase seven films starring people in our community.  The funds from this event will be used to assist with the completion of the Durrow Community Hub.
