Midland Warriors are hosting a major fundraiser to continue work on the new grounds. With the 2 pitches in place, the next step is our dressing room complex/clubhouse. In the background, work continues on the car parking area. In the future we will also have an astro and a walking track.
Midland Warriors RFC is more than a rugby club — it is a vibrant community hub built on inclusion, opportunity, and fun for all. Founded in 2005, it promotes rugby for men, women, and children across Moate and nearby areas.
It takes pride in treating every player and team equally. As it grows, new grounds and facilities will support its vision of inclusive, community-focused rugby rooted in respect and teamwork.
Our Judges
Rachel Duffy
Former International Rose of Tralee
Rachel has a background in drama, theatre and performance studies. She is a member of Rosemount Amateur Drama Society and performed in various plays and musicals over the years. Rachel is a Former International Rose of Tralee, and Age-Friendly Ireland Ambassador. A proud Member of Cill Oige LGFA, she has taken part in Midland Warriors women's tag rugby earlier this season. Rachel is also currently completing her masters in Primary School Education.
Tilly Dawson-Stanley
Presenter - Midlands 103 & TG4
Tilly is a presenter with Midlands 103 and TG4's On The Limit Sports. She has a strong musical background, with a longstanding passion for singing and performance, and she is also looking forward to releasing a new music video later this year. From radio to television, Tilly knows what it takes to engage an audience so she'll be looking for some confidence, attitude and pure entertainment on stage!
Jordan Conroy
Former Irish Rugby Union Player & Olympian
Jordan is best known for his exciting career in rugby sevens, representing Ireland on the international stage, including competing at the Olympic Games, and becoming a fan favourite thanks to his speed, strength and try-scoring ability. In 2022, Jordan swapped the rugby pitch for the dance floor when he appeared on Dancing with the Stars, coming in second place, where he impressed audiences with his energy, commitment and personality!
