Lil Micks
Lil Micks
Act Details
Meet the Lil Micks—a squad of characters where the scouting is sharp, and the players are... unique.
Eddie Brady
Role: Rugby Scout
Eddie Brady is a man who views the rugby pitch as a battlefield of the soul. Drawing inspiration from the urban stoicism popularized by Charlamagne Tha God, Eddie often evaluates young talent by reciting Marcus Aurelius: "Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one." He doesn't just look at a player’s sprint speed; he looks at the quality of their thoughts. Eddie believes that if a prop is distressed by an external late tackle, the pain is not due to the tackle itself, but to the prop's estimate of it—which they have the power to revoke at any moment.
The Fact: Eddie carries a weathered, leather-bound copy of Meditations in his back pocket, but he’s had it hollowed out to hide a single, emergency artisanal meat pie for halftime.
Lucky Oviawe
Role: Player, New Zealand Warriors
Lucky is a current player who brings a whole new meaning to the term "impact player." While his teammates are studying film, Lucky is usually studying the migratory patterns of garden gnomes.
Ridiculous Fact: Lucky refuses to wear standard rugby cleats. Instead, he plays exclusively in high-performance, aerodynamic Crocs (in "sport mode," of course), claiming they allow his feet to "breathe the victory."
Interests:
Competitive Competitive Napping: He has won three unofficial titles for falling asleep during high-intensity team meetings.
Llama Grooming: He spends his off-days running a boutique mobile spa for llamas, specializing in "The Mullet" cut.
Extreme Origami: Lucky once missed a practice because he accidentally folded himself into a paper crane and couldn't get out until the equipment manager arrived.
